OUR WORKS

Africa Inland Church-Uganda is licensed to operate its mission activities Countrywide. Currently our mission is live in the Districts of Busia, Bugiri, Kiryadongo, Kasese, Soroti, Kapchorwa, Namayingo and Hoima.

  • Education

    We work with individuals living in rural and urban extreme poverty to improve their access to a quality education, particularly focusing on marginalized groups including girls, orphans and children with disabilities.

    Your donation will;
    Help setup and furnish an Inclusive Vocational Skills Training Center that also incorporates Up-skilling, Re-skilling and Digitization linked to current and future community and global demands.
    Pay school fees and provide other school needs for needy children.
    Design and provide Inclusive school transport services for children with disabilities.
    Construct an inclusive modern Sports facility to develop talent and create pathways for youths and others.

  • Sustainable Livelihoods

    The best place for a child to grow up is within their loving family. Parents utilize their resourcefulness and determination through income-generation schemes to create a stable economic future and a better life for their children. Increasing household wealth will mean that parents no longer rely on their children to support the family income through working, and can afford school costs and other needs.

    Your Donation will;
    Support women and youth to start and improve their businesses, form Business Savings groups, pay for their Training, Coaching and Mentoring.
    Design and promote alternative climate adaptive income generating activities to ensure beneficiaries/members lead better lives and are able to pay taxes and contribute to sustainable development of their communities and the country at large.
    Access to low interest loans, seed funding and Insurance for women, youth and people with disabilities’ led SMEs.

  • Health and Wellbeing

    All individuals, whether they're living with chronic diseases, affected by perennial ill health, or have recurring medical problems, should be able to access healthcare. Our projects support marginalized people to get the help they need to stay as physically, mentally and spiritually healthy as possible.

    Your donation will;
    Engage beneficiaries to implement a community led integrated water resource management to ensure there’s enough clean drinking water for both humans and animals.
    Ensure clean and safe environment for the community by involving children and women in community led sanitation and hygiene promotional program.
    Provide low cost latrines to poor families to reduce open defecation and increase latrines usage including in schools.
    Pull resources to review housing and shelters for victims of violence.
    Teach girls and women how to make reusable sanitary pads, importance of personal hygiene-including childcare and mental health.
    Health risks associated with alcohol abuse, SGBV, HIV/AIDS and other STIs receive attention.

  • Evangelism & Church Planting

    “When people hear God’s Word in another language, it comes from somewhere else,” local church ministers say. “When it’s in their own language, God is speaking directly to them.” A team of Bagwe/Lugwe language translators is ready to complete the New and Old Testament in their language! A council of local church leaders has agreed to participate in the testing process. They will review trial copies of the books and provide feedback to the translators. The Scripture will serve Bagwe ministries involved in church planting, evangelism and discipleship. The Scripture will also be printed, recorded in audio format and also distributed on a phone app so people can hear and discuss the Bible in their language.

    Your financial donation;
    Will help in church planting among Bagwe people who will have gained access to more Scriptures in a language and form that speaks to their hearts!

  • Kids Feeding Project: Feeding Busia’s Most Vulnerable Kids

    Every week, AIC feeds over 100 hungry kids across Busia Municipality. With a growing network of schools and distribution partners across the municipality, AIC Uganda gets bags of food into the hands of over 50 kids every Friday. This means many will no longer wonder where their next meal is coming from.

    The majority of our food is purchased on a predictable schedule from suppliers. However, we also rescue safe, edible food from markets, local grocery stores and restaurants that would otherwise go to waste. By including rescued food in our weekly bags of food we can:

    Your donation will;
    Increase food variety in our bags at no cost.
    Reduce food costs overall so we can stretch every dollar further to feed more kids.
    Support environmental sustainability by reducing waste from local food suppliers.
    Make a long-lasting difference for hungry kids and their families.

    Target Segments:
    Faith based Communities and Civic Groups
    Families, parents, teachers, librarians, and psychologists
    Indigenous Communities and Refugees
    People Incarcerated in Prisons and Juvenile Detention Centers.
    Safe Communities, Schools, and Universities
    Survivors of War and Violence Trafficked Women and Children.
    Girls, boys, and youth, on the street, at home, in and out of school.
